The Company was founded in 1955 by Angelo Spadotto. After working for Mr. Spadotto for 30 years, Mark Welch purchased the company in the year 2000. Our main office is located in Marcellus, New York and in 2004 expanded the business and opened a satellite office in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
We are General Contractor that works predominantly for industrial companies and institutional organizations. We have developed a level of expertise in several specific areas. Included in these areas are millwork; in-house fabrication; field erection of structural steel; concrete work; construction and restoration of masonry walls; and commercial/industrial roofing, including built-up and single ply systems.

In 1999, the City of Conway, South Carolina Community Appearance Board established the C.P. Quattlebaum Design Award award to honor outstanding projects in the areas of development, restoration, landscaped design and signage, as well as the effort of those involved with these various projects. In April 2007, Welch Construction, Inc. was presented the C.P. Quattlebaum Design Award for the project completed on the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
